Jim KeenanJim Keenan is a native of County Armagh, Ireland and now lives in the Washington, DC suburbs in Montgomery County, Maryland. An accomplished Irish Ceili and Country Set dancer and teacher, Jim has danced and taught Irish Ceili and Set Dancing in the Washington, DC are since 1982. He has also performed and organized dances and sessions and conducted Ceili and Irish Country Set classes, summer schools, workshops and lectures on Irish dance throughout the United States, Europe and Canada.
John WhelanJohn Whelan, a native of England, grew up around Irish music. His exposure to the fiddle and pipe music led him to fall in love with the art form. At a young age, he won many accordion championships and later moved to America. He is known for performing with Riverdance next to fiddler Eileen Ivers. He has released numerous CD’s gaining him popularity and a devoted group of fans. More recently, Whelan contributed music to the soundtrack of BBC America’s “Copper”. His music exposes the new to the old and the old to the new.
